Albion resident Linda Ridder will be stepping into a new business venture and take over as the owner at Albion Floral and Gift store on Dec. 1.
Ridder, along with her mother, Karen Rankin, will be working in the shop. They hope to make their transition into the business as smooth as possible. Hours and days of operation will remain the same. They plan to expand the gift line to include baby and pet items.
In coming months, they also plan to have a kitchen area with baked goods, including cookies and brownies, as well as a coffee bar.
