Boone Central School Board took initial steps toward a building project by approving four motions during a special meeting Thursday night, Dec. 22.
The board began the meeting with discussion of three aspects of facilities projects:
- Construction of a new grades 9-12 high school building as recommended by the facilities advisory committee;
- Renovations to be made in the existing school building at Albion;
- Disposition of the existing school building at Petersburg.
The board then passed motions to contract with a cost estimator, negotiate for building sites and hire a fiscal agent.
