Major renovation work is continuing this spring at Albion Lockers, 129 West Church St.
During the past week, a new rail system (right) was completed for hanging meat.
On the south side of the building (lower photos), concrete was poured and poles were set last week for new livestock holding pens and alleyways. The steel work was being completed on Monday, April 9.
New refrigeration equipment and plumbing have also been installed rcently to update the building.
Owners Larry and Lori Swerczek have been working on various sections of the building since purchasing the business in November of 2010.
