Some 13 teams and 156 individuals participated in the 16th annual Boone County Relay for Life last Friday evening, June 8, at the Boone Central High School track.
Their efforts, along with those of many donors to the annual event, raised more than $14,777 to help in the fight against cancer. Darci Lindgren, chairman of this year’s relay, said a final total will be available at the wrap-up party to be held Monday, June 25, at 5:30 p.m. at the Boone County Health Center Kvam Community Room.
