Catharine Garber Nore, 95, of Albion died Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at the Boone County Health Center in Albion. Private family graveside services will be held at Immanuel Zion Lutheran South Branch Cemetery, rural Albion. Lyla D. (Kearney) Malleck, 38, of Central City, NE, formerly of St. Edward, died Saturday, July 7, 2012 at her home in Central City.  Funeral services were Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the St. Edward Catholic Church with Msgr. Robert J. Heying, Sr.

Robert Heying Sr., 82, of Petersburg, NE, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at the Boone County Health Center in Albion.  A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, July 7, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Petersburg.  Interment followed in the Parish Cemetery with military rites conducted by American Legion Post 334. Sheila Kay Allen

Sheila Kay (Waymire) Allen, 46, died June 29, 2012, in Norfolk, NE, after a long struggle with cancer. As per her wishes, there was no funeral. A graveside service was held Tuesday, July 3, at Dublin Cemetery in Primrose, NE with Pastor Matt officiating.
