Audrey Anne (Justus) Forney, 84, of Albion, died Monday, July 23, 2012 at the Boone County Health Center in Albion. Funeral services were Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Albion Church of Christ with Doug Fitzgerald officiating. Interment followed at Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion.

Herman J. Schmitz

Herman J. Schmitz, 93, of Norfolk, NE, formerly of Petersburg, NE, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012, at the Norfolk Veterans Home in Norfolk.  A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Petersburg with Fr. Stan Schmit officiating. Interment followed in the parish cemetery with military rites conducted by American Legion Post 334 of Petersburg.

Lauraine Lottie (Schultz) Waid

Lauraine L. (Schultz) Waid, 88 of Elgin, NE, passed away in her sleep on July 28, 2012 at her home. Funeral services will be 3 p.m Wednesday, Aug. 1 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Elgin with Reverend David Kuhfal officiating. Burial will follow immediately at Rose Hill Cemetery at Albion.
