Home is where the heart is, and for many the heart’s home is Loretto.
An estimated 125 people with heartstrings to Loretto gathered “south of the flagpole” last Sunday, Sept. 9, near the red, white and blue barn quilt painted by Jennifer Noble on her garage door.
They celebrated Loretto’s Q125 with visiting, fun, stories and an exchange of memories.
And there was food, lots of food.
A number of present and former Loretto residents shared stories about growing up in the community, which now has 42 residents.
