“Color Me a Cure,” a cancer awareness event and fund-raiser for local cancer patients in need, was very successful during the Boone Central vs. Columbus Scotus football game last Friday night, Sept. 21.
Funds from the sale of T-shirts and caramel apples, the cake raffle and other donations are being given to the Boone County Health Center Foundation Oncology Department. These funds will be used to help area cancer patients in need.
