New building going up at airport

Workers were erecting walls last week for the new terminal/administration building at the Albion Municipal Airport. This building will house offices, a conference room, pilot’s lounge, restrooms and weather briefing area.
The original estimated design and construction cost of $519,000 may be reduced due to design changes. The project is financed with 90 percent federal and 10 percent local funds.
