Capital campaign underway for pool amenities

Local members of the Albion Swimming Pool Capital Campaign Committee are now contacting potential donors to the project.
Goal of this campaign is to raise funds for amenities at the new swimming pool.
Commitments have been received for $150,000 in the campaign, which has a goal of raising $450,000 in private donations for the top priority pool amenities. These amenities include a spray pad play area, a larger water slide, shade structures, and play features for the pool’s zero depth entry area.
Interested donors may make checks payable to the Albion Swimming Pool Fund, and mail to: Boone County Area Foundation, PO Box 66, Albion, NE 68620-0066.
