A Mass of Christian Burial was Wednesday, Oct. 17 at St. Michael’s Parish Center in Spalding. Interment followed at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Jewell Dennis Hemmingsen, 71 of Primrose, NE, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012 at his home. Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids, NE with Pastor Ray Avidano officiating. Interment followed at the Dublin Cemetery with military rites conducted by American Legion Post 347 of Primrose. Levander Funeral Home of Albion and Cedar Rapids was in charge of arrangements. Claire D. Hansen, 77, of North Loup, NE passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at her home. A Celebration of Life was held on Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at the North Loup United Methodist Church with Pastor Bruce Phillips officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Hillside Cemetery at North Loup.
