Governor to visit Boone Central

Gov. Dave Heineman will be visiting Boone Central Public Schools on Tuesday, Oct. 30.
The governor will be gathering information from educators on their methods for improving student assessment scores. He will be joined by Nebraska Education Commissioner Dr. Roger Breed and State Sen. Greg Adams of York.
They will meet with teachers, administrators and board members at Boone Central at 11:10 a.m. They will spend about 90 minutes here before traveling on to the next school. They are visiting three schools in rural Nebraska that day.
