Boone County voters prep for election

Boone County voters will join millions of other Americans next Tuesday, Nov. 6, in charting the course for their federal, state and local governments.
General election polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Boone County’s six polling places.
Local ballots will include only a few contested races for city, village and school board races. The exceptions are St. Edward and Cedar Rapids, where both communities have contested school board and city/village races. St. Edward voters will also decide a special sales tax measure.
