BC students will likely get iPads in February

Boone Central High School and Middle School students will likely be getting their individual iPads in early February.
The school board completed one of the final steps toward the iPad deployment Monday night, Jan. 14, when it adopted a policy handbook for the iPad Learning Initiative.
Final iPad training sessions for the school’s teaching staff are scheduled this week.
Superintendent of Schools Cory Worrell said the iPad deployment dates are tentatively planned on Sunday, Feb. 3, at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., and Monday, Feb. 4, at 7 p.m.
