Sheriff’s office investigates auto thefts

Investigation of a series of auto thefts during January is winding down at Boone County Sheriff’s Department this week.
Two Albion residents were being held in the Boone County Jail in connection with the thefts.
The case involved possibly four stolen vehicles, one vehicle fire and one accident since Jan. 4.
