Fire Department honors members

Albion Volunteer Fire Department member Jim Schindel (right) was among the Albion Fire & Rescue members honored at a recognition banquet Saturday night, Feb. 23. Presenting the award was Fire Chief Bruce Benne. Schindel has served 30 years on the local department.
Others honored during the banquet were Amy Zaruba (25 years), Don Noecker (20 years), and Paul Kyncl, Doug Salber, Jenice Stevenson, Ray Dozler and Cindy Leifeld (15 years).
