School Board to seek athletic complex bids

After a presentation by project architects Wednesday night, Feb. 27, the Boone Central School Board agreed to proceed with seeking bids for renovation of the school track/athletic complex.
The board’s consensus was to seek bids on the first phase of the project, which would include demolition, replacement/relocation of the track, football field, bleachers, lighting, fencing, and all grading for the facilities and parking area, and most of the concrete work.
The board has not yet taken official action to proceed with the field renovation.
