Both Boone Central/Newman Grove and Spalding/Spalding Academy advanced to championship games in their respective classes at last weekend’s Boys State Basketball Tournament, and area fans turned in force to support them.
Both teams returned with runner-up trophies after close contests in the C1 and D2 championship games.
