Home, Farm & Garden Show attracts more than 800 here

Although weather conditions were less than ideal, more than 800 people passed through the gate at the third annual Boone County Home, Farm and Garden Show last Saturday, March 23. The show included a variety of displays, workshops, a barbecue contest and children’s activities.
Some 90 vendors and exhibitors were part of this year’s show.
Four contestants competed in the Boone County PitBoss Barbecue Challenge, and Jason Whitmore of Jack’s Smokehouse, Columbus, was named the first place winner.
