Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont with Rev. Michael Thomas officiating. Burial, with military honors will be conducted by the Fremont Honor Guard of VFW Post 854 and American Legion Post 20, will be at Ridge Cemetery in Fremont. Alfred C. “Alf” Glaser, 83, of Kearney, NE, formerly of Spalding, NE, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at St. Michael’s Catholic Parish Center in Spalding with Fr. Don Buhrman, Fr. Jim Murphy and Fr. Joe Hannappel officiating. Interment followed at the parish cemetery with military rites conducted by American Legion Post #299 of Spalding. Dolce-Scheef Mortuary was in charge of arrangements. James E. Lingren, 87, of Albion, NE, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Wolf Memorial Good Samaritan Center in Albion, NE. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Zion Lutheran Church in Albion. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post 162 and VFW Post 736 of Albion. Levander Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
