Legion field dedicated to Leon Nelson

A new sign (above) now greets visitors to Leon Nelson Memorial Field (formerly the Albion Legion Field) in the Sports Complex.
The dedication is a tribute to the late Leon Nelson’s many years of dedication to the local American Legion baseball field.
Many members of his family were on hand for the May 23 dedication.
