Abraham Lincoln (portrayed by Peru State College professor Spencer Davis) was the featured speaker at a Decoration Day program presented by the Boone County Historical Society on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27.
Historical Society officers Pat Boilesen, president, and Paul Hosford, secretary-treasurer, also addressed the crowd.
Following the program, there were tours of the museum, demonstrations by artisans and a Civil War encampment.
