Financing discussion next for possible new fairgrounds building

About 35 area residents heard a proposal on June 11 for the new livestock exhibit building at the Boone County Fairgrounds.
Next step was a discussion the following Tuesday night, June 18, on how to finance the $4.1 million project.
As proposed, the construction cost would be financed with donated funds and grants.
The new 350 x 250 foot structure is proposed to replace all existing livestock exhibit buildings on the fairgrounds, and would host additional shows and events throughout the year.
