Petersburg wins two environmental awards

Two prestigious environmental awards were presented to Petersburg during a luncheon at the Lied Center in Nebraska City on Thursday, June 27.
The community received first place for the Deanie Anderson Outstanding Community Environmental Award (up to 2,500 population) and the Deanie Anderson Outstanding Community Award overall winner (up to 10,000 population).
