Rising country star Sebastian to headline fair

Gwen Sebastian is on her way up in the country music world, and she’ll be at the 2013 Boone County Fair in Albion this Sunday evening, July 7, for a 7:30 p.m. concert.
Fans will remember Sebastian from her run on NBC’s hit singing competition The Voice.
After her appearance on that program, her coach and country superstar Blake Shelton offered her a spot as opening act on his tour, where she is now appearing.
Sebastian is also getting plenty of notice as a solo performer. She recently released a new album, “The Boot,” and a single from that album, “Suitcase,” has been rising on the country charts.
