Fair gets good overall attendance

Boone County Fair officials were pleased with attendance at grandstand entertainment events during the final three nights of the 2013 fair.
“We felt that attendance was very good overall,” said Dave Noble, fair board chairman. “We know the heat kept some people away from some events, but we felt it was a very good fair attendance.”
The top grandstand attendance was for the Monday night Super Late Model and Spring Racing, and Tuesday night for the Combine Demolition Derby and Two-Car Chain races.
