Harold Hansen

Harold Hansen, 80, of North Loup, NE, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at the Good Samaritan Health System in Kearney. Mr. Hansen’s wishes were to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, July 25, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the North Loup United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Marsh officiating. Inurnment will be in the Hillside Cemetery at North Loup. Military honors will be provided by the Ralph R. Rich American Legion Post 285 of North Loup.

Marcella “Sally” Jackson

Marcella M. “Sally” Jackson, 91, of St. Edward, NE, formerly of Cedar Rapids, NE, died Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Columbus Community Hospital in Columbus, NE. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, July 19, 2013, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids with Msgr. Ralph Steffensmeier officiating. Interment was at the parish cemetery. Joseph G. Klassen, 82, of Papillion, NE, passed away on July 3, 2013. A Mass of Christian Burial was held July 8, 2013 at St. Colombkile Catholic Church in Papillion. Military honors were conducted by the Papillion American Legion. Interment was at the Calvary Cemetery.

Thomas F. “Tom” Johnson, 87, of Albion, NE, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 at the Boone County Health Center in Albion. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Zion Lutheran Church in Albion with Rev. Michael Kern officiating. Interment followed at Rose Hill Cemetery with military rites conducted by American Legion Post 162 and VFW Post 736 of Albion. Levander Funeral Home of Albion was in charge of arrangements.
