Busy schedule in Petersburg this month

August has arrived in Petersburg. That means the start of school, but it also means the weekend schedules will be very busy.
Petersburg’s Bash in the Burg is coming up this Saturday, Aug. 10, featuring a barbecue contest, kids activities, home brew and homemade bread contests, in addition to music.
Other events are the Petersburg league golf tournament on Aug. 17; the Petersburg Fire Department Trail Ride on Aug. 16-18; and the Nebraska State Antique Tractor & Horse Plowing Bee west of Petersburg on Aug. 23, 24 and 25.
