Albion native is partner in thriving e-business

Becky App is an Albion native who has created a “buzz” both in downtown Omaha and nationally with her ice cream and gelato shop, eCreamery.
Jacquelyn (Jinx) and Ken Kucera are Becky’s parents. The family lived in Albion until App’s fourth grade year, when her father was offered a job opportunity at Nebraska State Bank.
Becky met her future business partner, Abby Jordan, while working in Omaha after college. Together, they opened eCreamery.com in 2007, and the business has taken off after appearances on ABC TV’s Shark Tank and other shows.
