Rhythm & Ribs coming up Saturday

Some special features will be part of Albion’s fourth annual Rhythm & Ribs event this Saturday, Aug. 24.
Former University of Nebraska softball pitcher Ashley Hagemann will be a special guest barbecue judge. She will also be available to sign autographs during the afternoon.
Hagemann, who will be teaching fourth grade at Bennington, NE, this fall, is Nebraska’s career strikeout leader with 988 strikeouts to her credit.
Another special feature for the crowd will be “life size beer pong” using trash barrels and volleyballs. Teams of four will be competing in a double elimination tournament.
As in past years, Rhythm & Ribs will include plenty of music and good food.
