Huge week for swimming pool donations

Albion Swimming Pool fund posted its largest single week gain since it began, with $13,547 contributed in new donations as of Monday, Sept. 9.
Total local donations reached $258,108. This leaves just $31,092 to be raised by Dec. 31, 2013 to qualify for a $100,000 matching grant from the Peter Kiewit Foundation.
