Boone Central High School’s annual Color Day is set for Saturday, Oct. 19, and students will be observing special days through the week of Oct. 13-19.
Following is the schedule for next week:
Sunday, Oct. 13 – Students meet from 5 to 7 p.m. to decorate their class walls. The walls must be completed by 7 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 14 – Nerd Day. Practice during activity period for all seniors participating in Color Day. Dress-up day participation counted in home room. Best rep judging in the gym after school.
Tuesday, Oct. 15 – Blast from the Past Day. Dress-up participation counted in home room. Best rep judging in the gym after school.
Wednesday, Oct. 16 – Western Day. Voting for Color Day King, Queen and attendants. Dress-up day participation counted in home room. Best rep judging in the gym after school.
Thursday, Oct. 17 – America Day. Dress-up day participation counted in home room. Best rep judging in the gym after school.
Friday, Oct. 18 – Cardinal Crazy Day. Dress-up day participation counted in home room. Pep Rally, 3 p.m. in Spectator Gym. Best rep judging during pep rally. Home football game vs. Columbus Lakeview, 7 p.m.
Participation, best rep, class wall decorating and pep rally activity points will be counted toward class competition.
Saturday, Oct. 19 – Color Day Ceremony and Coronation at 8 p.m. Participants meet at the band room by 7:15 p.m. Color Day Dance from 9 p.m. to midnight. SADD party in the Spectator Gym from midnight to 2:30 a.m.
