Phebe E. Randles, a native of the Albion area and a longtime teacher here, was honored with an open house on her 100th birthday last Friday, Nov. 8, at Wolf Memorial Home.
She taught at Cedar Rapids Public School from 1946 to 1951, and taught fifth grade at Albion Public Schools from 1951 through 1958. Her teaching career spanned 41 years.
