Race against the weather; motel concrete work begins

Concrete pouring for the foundation began last week for the Cardinal Inn motel in Albion.
With cold weather approaching, concrete work began last Saturday and continued early this week.
Upcoming tasks will include installation of plumbing and electrical lines, and pouring the concrete floor.
Owner Randy Christo said the goal for completion of the 24-room facility is April 15, 2014.
