Shannon Landauer, executive director of the Boone County Development Agency (BCDA) announced last week she will be leaving the post she has held for the past 5 1/2 years.
Ms. Landauer has accepted a position in Carroll, IA, as executive director with the Carroll Area Development Corporation and Chamber of Commerce. Carroll is a city of about 10,000 people and the county seat of Carroll County. As executive director, Landauer will oversee a staff of three other development professionals.
She will leave her BCDA post on Dec. 20, 2013, and will start her new position in Carroll on Jan. 2, 2014.
