Newman Grove farmer elected to National Biodiesel Board office

Greg Anderson of Newman Grove was recently elected secretary of the National Biodiesel Board at the organization’s annual membership meeting in Washington, DC.
Anderson will serve in the office through 2014. The group promotes biodiesel production on a commercial scale.
“We’re finally really starting to see biodiesel command a large share of soybean oil, which makes up the share we lost to the trans-fat market a few years back,” said Anderson.
