Framing underway for new motel

Exterior walls were being raised in warm conditions last week for the new Cardinal Inn motel and conference center in Albion. More concrete work and additional framing were planned this week.
The construction contractors on this project have close connections to the Albion area. General contractor Ryan Belgum of Lincoln is a 1995 graduate of Albion High School. The framing contractor, Doug Borer of Lincoln, is a 1993 Albion High grad. The electrical contractor, Jeremy Nore of Access Electric (Kearney and Grand Island) is a 1990 Albion High graduate. Business owner Randy Christo graduated from Albion High School in 1973.
