More contribute to pool

Albion Swimming Pool Fund gained more than $5,000 beyond the original goal during the past week. On Friday, Dec. 27, the fund total stood at $455,692.
Additional donors at the Contributor level ($1,000 to $4,999) were Cedar Valley Insurance and Carol Zoucha (in memory of Bob Zoucha).
Other donors (up to $999) were Fred and Vicki Buhlmann, SourceGas, and Frank and Barb Svoboda.
Campaign funds remaining after final payment of project costs will be applied toward the pool bonds to mitigate the property tax impact.
