Only two construction projects are included in the city’s street plan for 2014, but the total cost of those two projects is estimated at $275,000.
Both involve street work near the new Albion Swimming Pool.
Extension of South Street from Seventh to Eighth Streets will cost an estimated $125,000.
Extension of Eighth Street from south of Fuller to meet South Street is expected to cost $150,000.
Both of these projects were included in the one-year portion of the city’s street plan approved by the Albion City Council Tuesday night, Jan. 14.
