Students and staff at St. Michael’s School have had a busy week celebrating Catholic Schools Week, Jan. 25-31.
Theme of the week is “Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service.”
This theme focuses on the concept that Catholic schools are families in their own right, but also members of the larger community of home, church, city and nation. The schools are judged on their faith, knowledge and service.
Catholic Schools Week was kicked off Sunday, Jan. 26, with a special mass at St. Michael’s Church, followed by open house at the school and a pancake breakfast sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.
More special events are planned through Friday.
