It’s official.
After a public hearing last Wednesday, Jan. 29 in Lincoln, the Nebraska State Committee for the Reorganization of Schools unanimously approved the merger petition of Cedar Rapids and Spalding public schools.
The newly formed district will become Riverside Public School on Aug. 1, 2014.
