Look for equipment to arrive this week for reconstruction of Petersburg’s sidewalks and curbing on Petersburg’s Main Street. Sidewalk removal could begin as early as this week on the west end of the business district, north side.
The project will be starting as soon as weather allows, according to information shared by the contractor, Elkhorn Valley Paving, and engineer John Zwingman at pre-construction meetings last week.
Initial plans were to start at the Central Valley Ag elevator office and work east.
