Various final preparations were underway this week at the new Cardinal Inn motel in Albion.
The motel is preparing for special events this Saturday, May 3, to include a ribbon cutting with Gov. Dave Heineman at 4 p.m., along with an open house and tours of the facility.
Outdoor preparations included installation of landscaping and mulch (above) and concrete work.
