An Albionite who is active in the military delivered the Memorial Day address during ceremonies at the Boone County Courthouse grounds on Monday, May 26.
Staff Sgt. Tana McMillan said an experience during her tour of duty in Afghanistan brought home the meaning of Memorial Day.
Her unit lost a comrade, SFC Trenton Rhea of Kansas City, MO, to an IED explosion in Afghanistan slightly more than one year ago.
