Rebecca Reicks, daughter of Doug and Jean Reicks of Petersburg, has been awarded the Alda Lehr Scholarship for $1,500. Miranda Ketteler, daughter of Randy and Margo Ketteler of Petersburg, was named the alternate.
Rebecca and Miranda both graduated from Boone Central High School on May 18, 2014.
The Alda Lehr Scholarship is awarded to an Albion female graduate who will be attending one of the schools in the University of Nebraska system. The scholarship is renewable at $1,500 a year for students sophomore through senior years.
The scholarship is made possible by a gift to the University of Nebraska Foundation from Lewis Lehr of Scottsdale, AZ, in memory of his aunt, Mrs. Alda Lehr of Albion.
