Work is progressing toward a mid-June completion of the new Albion Family Aquatic Center.
A change order for $23,500 was submitted last week for construction of the handicapped parking stalls and sidewalk to access the pool bathhouse.
Platte Valley Precast of Columbus will be doing this portion of the project, said Dick Cole, construction foreman with the general contractor, Christiansen Construction. Platte Valley Precast has been doing all of the concrete flatwork on this project, Cole said. The concrete pour for the sidewalk and parking has been scheduled for later this week.
The change order adds five days of time to the contract, so the company will have until June 18 to complete the sidewalk and ADA parking portion of this project.
