Alumni weekend events successful

A 1959 Chrysler Imperial trunk will hold nine children with room to spare. These kids demonstrated the size of the trunk during the annual Smoke n Chrome Car Show last Saturday.Albion had plenty of activity throughout the day on Alumni Saturday, June 14.
More than 200 people were served at a pancake and sausage breakfast downtown. The second annual Louis Hoppe Memorial 5K run attracted about 50 participants, and the Smoke n Chrome Car Show featured 120 vehicles on display. The annual Albion/Boone Central Alumni Banquet attracted about 300 people.
