Get set for the 20th annual Gateway to the Sandhills Bullride this Saturday, July 5, starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Boone County Fairgrounds.
Fans will see some rank bulls and plenty of action.
The event will begin with a calcutta at 6:30 p.m., and door prize drawings will be held to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the bullride.
A fireworks show is planned following the bullride at dark, and a dance and beer garden, sponsored by the Boone County Ag Society, will follow the ride.
