Boone County and its communities already benefit from philanthropy, but there are many more possibilities for quality of life improvements in the future.
Speakers emphasized those future possibilities during a Celebration of Giving event held Sunday afternoon, Aug. 10, at the Boone County Fairgrounds.
Kurt Kruse and Jay Wolf, on behalf of the Boone County Area Foundation Fund (BCAFF) advisory committee, welcomed the crowd of about 120 people.
Jim Gustafson, gift planning director with the Nebraska Community Foundation, invited Boone County residents to “turn up the dream switch” and bring improvements to reality.
