Rae Valley Heritage Association’s 32nd annual Nebraska State Antique Tractor and Horse Plowing Bee, Rae Valley Old Thresher’s Reunion, is scheduled for Friday through Sunday, Aug. 22-24, 2014. Organizers decided to have free gate admission this year and everyone is welcome.
The weekend begins with the annual Creston-to-Petersburg tractor cade on Friday. Tractors arrive at the show site at 5 p.m. It will be followed by an open music jam in the barn at 8 p.m.
Daily attractions include a working blacksmith, steam engines, gas engines, shingle mill, saw mill, antique tractors, and horse-powered machinery.
